Remembering and reframing

Every now and then we need to take ”Time out of time”, and listen to our own wisdom.

Today I sat with Sammy One Drop Blindell and gathered friends and contemplated on blessings that didn’t feel like blessings when they happened.

Those of you that know my story know that I made myself voiceless as a small child after a traumatic time in my life. And the subsequent losses of significant others like my legal guardian and my beloved papa, as a teen and child, led me to learn that I needed to survive not thrive.

Several times in my life, I have revisited these moments, today was one of them. I was reminded that the most beautiful event in my life was meeting my husband aka POG. He like my papa, and great grannie before him, showed me love from a felt sense, not an obligation. And this is what I want to pass onto those beloveds that cross my path .

My new LinkedIn profile sums it up like this: Empowering, liberating leader in the space of inclusion, equality and diversity, especially neuro diversity. Giving a voice to the voiceless, via speech, and the paintbrush and the pen. Bridging matter and spirit with love”.
