Anything that is worth teaching can be presented in many different ways. These multiple ways can make use of our multiple intelligences.

Howard Gardner

The Inner Ecology Landscape.

What do I mean by this term.?

We all have an interior world, one where the interior space can be open & spacious, or constricting and closed. Words which can be used to explain this space are: mental; thoughtful, psychological, psychic, emotional and spiritual, to name a few.

As an Embodied Related Therapist, I learned how emotions can help or hinder relatedness to ourselves and others. And a Hu-man beings, a mixture of spirit and matter, we are organisms which can enhance or diminish our chances of life not merely existence.

We live in a landscape of many demands: family, social, educational, economic, self and other, which compete for our energy and acceptance.

The eco-warrior in me, does not become inflamed with climate change and the earth, but of a climate change where individuals who suffer with learning and social challenges can be “met”; seen, heard, and witnessed where they are now.

This morning I entered a state of “being”, “non-doing” while dancing nia. In that moment, I sensed that I could be a catalyst for others to “be” comfortable in their own skin, and guide them towards their own “inner joy”.  I spoke to my teacher after the session, and found myself expressing how I had created a “motif” for this offer, many months ago.  Like many of my clients, I had let an opportunity languish, un-earthed, rooted, out of fear.

Now, today, I step forward bringing my self forward, to reach out to individuals frequently exiled from their own bodies, and without self awareness. We all are blessed with a range of intelligences: somatic, emotional, musical, cognitive, spiritual, to cite some that Howard Gardner referred to.

“Anything that is worth teaching can be presented in many different ways. These multiple ways can make use of our multiple intelligences”. Howard Gardner.

I want this sacred circle to be a space where we can use our bodies, minds, emotions, and non-corporeal awareness to become a more authentic navigator of our lives.

I’d like to start with a request for invitees to comment on practical ways that with use of video, postings, photos, movement in the safety of our own homes, and listening to our own “inner guide(s) not our inner critic(s), we can build a circle of companionship, and nourish ourselves, as when I reflect upon the challenges, my soul and body has experienced as “Sue”, I am humbled by my ability to survive and grow .
